Abstract

Investigating the entropy region of four random variables leads to solving linear multiobjective linear optimization problems. The notes sketches how the method of obtaining new entropy inequalities translates to solving linear multiobjective optimization problems, and reports the numerical results. Obstacles in extending the method to handle five random variables are indicated.
